Taylor has become amazingly observant of her surroundings. We bought a bird mobile for her crib ( from Pottery Barn Kids) that she absolutely adores. This morning I woke up at 6:30 am and heard Taylor making nosies... she had the biggest smile on her face and was in a very deep conversation with her new friends. I have no doubt that they were discussing the presidential campaign and Hilliary's exit strategy, but that is neither here nor there.
We also purchased a baby's floor mat. This little contraption will grow with her until she is walking. It has seven different positions and plays a music and light show for 20 minutes. All of a sudden she wants nothing to do with us, she fusses until we place her with the birds or on her new mat. So sad... she is so independent.
