Now when I tell you that she is loosing her hair will you believe me? So sad... but maybe it will grow back blond and curly, like my hair was when I was little.

It was 98 degree's at the beach this morning ( at 11 am ) we took a walk to the Del Mar park and sat in the shade with Taylor and Lucy.

Shark Attack in Solana Beach!!

HELLO!!! This happened less than 1 mile north from my house. This is why I don't swim in lrge bodies of water.

Man killed in shark attack near Solana Beach
A man swimming in the ocean near Solana Beach was killed this morning by a shark, the Times' Molly-Hennessy-Fiske reports.
A man 55 to 60 years old was swimming with others at Tide Beach about 7 a.m. when he was attacked, according to a statement on the Solana Beach city website.The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken to the Fletcher Cove Park lifeguard station for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead at the scene, the statement said.Swimmers were ordered out of the water along a 17-mile stretch around the attack site, and the San Diego County Sheriff's Department sent up helicopters to scan the waters for the shark."The shark is still in the area. We're sure of that," Solana Beach Mayor Joe Kellejian told the Associated Press.
Times staffers are on the story, so more details are to come.

Peanut Update

Today was Taylor's two month doctors appointment. 5 shots!!! Yikes, let just say the little Peanut was a little ticked off. Here are her stats

Length: 22.75 inches, 66 percentile

Weight: 11 pounds 10 ounces, 72 percentile

Head Circumference: 15 inches 33 percentile

Bath Time

Great pictures of Dusty giving little Taylor a bath. She loves her bath time!

Lucy likes to watch to make sure everything is going well. She is very protective!

She would sit in that tub for hours. Plus the Johnson and Johnson bed time bath smells wonderful.

Glory Glory Halleluiah

YEP! Last night the little peanut slept 5 1/2 hours strait, woke for a little snack, and slept for another 3 hours. It was glorious, simply glorious. Dusty woke up and looked confused since he got REM sleep.

We owe it all to the "swaddle me". ( you can find it at babies r us ) A girl from my mommy group recommended this wonderful product. After Taylor got big enough to kick out of her swaddling blanket she would startle herself and wake up at least every 2 hours. It took a couple of nights to get used to and now she sleeps like a little princess.

P.S. We transitioned her to the crib too. So mom you can stop worrying! It took over a week but she finally likes to sleep in her big girl bed.

You may remember a couple months ago I posted this amazing ring on our blog in hopes that Brad would buy it for me for Valentines Day {which he did!} Turns out I've been really sick this week and this morning Brad asked me to think of something he could do to make me feel better {Anything - he said} I think this beautiful workspace should do the trick. Just thinking about organizing all my things in that pretty hutch is making me feel better already!

My new haircut!!!! {Nothing too exciting} After about 4 great years with bangs - I've decided to grow em' out. I also decided that in order to be slightly more professional at work, I need a haircut that in no way shape or form could be put in a ponytail. {trust me - if I can get it in a ponytail - it will be that way EVERY day!}


Plus - what I love most about this haircut is that it makes my earrings look really big - I love big earrings!

Itch

For the last couple weeks I have had the major itch to move. I've been stocking Craigslist for all possible leads....today I ventured out of my desired price range and found this. It's PERFECT!

Now all I need is $4000 a month. {Yeah, that's the price of a 1 bedroom apartment in Pacific Heights}
